Francine already knows Stan has an overly attached relationship with his mother. You're forgetting the conversation w/ Roger prior to that scene. She tells him "they are way too close" & he's convinced it's all in her head. To prove him wrong she tricks him into seeing them in the bathroom after sarcastically saying their relationship is "perfectly normal".
