How is this season so far (season 12)?

I haven't watched any of this season's episodes yet. I love the show, but the last couple of seasons (since moving to tbs) have had some duds, IMO. I'm planning on binge watching over christmas holidays after I'm done finals, but I was just wondering what everyone thinks of this season so far?

*I don't know if this season is season 12, 13, or 14 because every source lists their seasons differently, but obviously talking about the season airing fall 2016 lol*

Overall it's not too bad. No where near as good as the hits you probably remember when it was on Fox in the mid/late 2000's. But it still has a few funny lines and such.

You can tell that a lot of people are not watching it, simply by how dried up the board is.

Also, I don't know what season this one is supposed to be either! American Dad! has always been a mess with season numberings.

I thought the 1st episode was really poor. It seemed to have lost the spark. I was wondering if they'd lost one or two of their writers. But, I've watched a few more and it's picked up a bit. Still, not a good series so far though. I actually came here wondering if anyone else agreed with me, but not seeing much agreement yet.
