Stan's reaction to missing Roger's antics

Why...why... WHY did they make Stan sound like he's having the worst intestinal pain, constipation, and otherwise pain at Roger's antics being missed by him?

I can think of literally dozens of other ways, but no we got:

"HMNNNNNNNNN.,...HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN....uh this is what I miss."

why? Why? WHY?

Is this a movie reference? An inside joke? Just the way Stan reacts?
