I'm no prude but I was totally disgusted by the episode "Hook, Line and Sinker".
I know that episode implied Karen had sex with Hank. But if she did, why did she outright lied and denied it "I didn't sleep with Hank."
What makes Corner Gas great is the platonic feeling between the characters. The lack of sexual tension makes this show a care-free show.
She obviously didn't have sex with Hank. Watch the episode again.

Yeah Hank was just blowing the situation up into something much bigger than it was. She admitted they made out. Poor Karen.

The brilliance about the show is that they are able to make racy jokes in a manner in which it is still wholesome (See: cellphone episode). And I think that is the main reason we are never sure if Hank or Karen slept together. It wasn't important but rather the fact that Karen felt attracted to the normally unappealing Hank was humourous. The did she or didn't she just provided a lot more fodder for jokes.

I do think that Karen slept with Hank because she's the one that brings it up and she's so adamant about it. The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
I don't think there was any real sexual tension in the episode. I think there was actually more in "I Love Lacey".

I don't think her being adamant about it is proof she did. I can't imagine her saying "I didn't sleep with him, but if you think I did, believe what you want."
I don't think she did, for three reasons:
Sleeping together takes long enough that she would have come to her senses
The preliminaries would snap Hank out of what it was that made him so "attractive"
If it had happened, I think Hank would have bragged about it.
I now have two dead people in my jaw and I think they're trying to get out!
I don't think so, hank is quite an honest fool without many negative traits that aren't related to him being an idiot. I doubt he would brag about it. Karen on the other hand is insecure and jumpy. Anyway, I agree with the poster who pointed out it doesn't really matter. And OP, definitely a prude. Sorry it offended you,I thought it was a great ep.

I'd be surprised if there was any recreational sex in Dog River. There's plenty of innuendo but in 6 years I don't think there was any indication of Hank, Karen, Brent, Lacey, Wanda, or Davis having a sex life. Considering how slow life in Dog River is, you'd think they'd have it as much as possible to kill the boredem, but the sex would probably be so slow that it'd be tantric.
