I was off yesterday, and I noticed CTV Two here airs 2 episodes of "Corner Gas" at 9:00am and 9:30pm respectively.

The scene where Brent is in the pawn shop -- he is selling/pawning his old TV. Hank thinks (and persuades everyone else to think (except Davis)) that Brent is going through a rough patch. When, in actuality, Brent upgraded his TV. So, he had no need for his old TV.

Here's something I never noticed....until now.

In that scene, on the wall in the back, there are a couple of banners of sports teams. One is kind of hidden and the other is in plain view.

The one kind of hidden is of the Regina Pats. The Pats are a junior hockey team, which is a part of the Western Hockey League.

The one in plain view?

The Montreal Canadiens!

I'm was REALLY surprised I missed that in watching the series. I mean, with me being a BIG Montreal Canadiens fan. [oops]

Well...obviously YOU do if you took the time to reply to this thread! 

All kidding aside, as I had said, since I am a BIG Montreal Canadiens fan, I was really surprised I didn't catch it....until now.

BTW, the Montreal Canadiens' logo is the most recognized marketing logo in Quebec. I work for the company that is the SECOND most recognized. 

Perhaps the humour is in the fact that sonmeone in Dog River PAWNED a Habs banner!

Perhaps one of them once went to a Habs game, and caught up in the excitement, purchased the banner, and then had buyer's remorse later!

(Of course, had it been a LEAFS banner, all eyes would have gone to Lacey!)
