Man, I love SCTV! Im 23, so I never watched it when it was on orginally...the first time I saw it I thought it was real, some local cable channel. Then I asked my folks and they told me it was a comedy show.
Also, I loved Road to Avonlea! I was such a secret fan of that growing up.
Bob and Doug McKenzie were hilarious, but my favourite Canadian comedy of all time is Kids In The Hall, I think they had better sketch comedy than Monty Python even.
Glad to see Corner Gas on the list, the characters were unforgettable and the show was light years better than most sit-coms.
SCTV was awesome. When they had the Network 90 show on NBC, if me and my friends were partying, we would all gather around the TV when it came on. We never did that with SNL.
