Look although Leon seems to be more popular, it is obvious that Chris is the real man hands down, like I said Leon gets saved by a girl all the time while Chris saves the people with him in every game.
My vote goes for Chris.
It's hard to say. Chris has more experience, but Leon was seriously bumped up a few notches on the Awesome Scale in RE4, and was able to make it through RE4 with only occasional help from Ada. Chris is a well-known fighter against bioterrorism, but Leon works directly for the president. Leon does get his butt saved by girls a lot, but Chris has a constant partner in all of his appearances (that I know of). Leon is more agile, but if Chris managed to land a punch it would cause some serious pain.
It's really hard to say. My vote goes to Leon, only because he lived through the creepiest RE game mostly alone, and could probably wear Chris down if he was able to avoid getting hit too much.
Other than RE5 what other Resident Evil game did Chris ever get constant help in? He was in the original Resident Evil and Code: Veronica, and never had constant help. In fact he's alone through basically the entirty of the first game and his segment of Code: Veronica only has him meet up with Claire near the end.

shareLooks like we might get our answer in the new Resident Evil 6 trailer. My vote goes to Leon however because he is more agile. Chris is more powerful but he is a bit slow. Leon could wear him out. You could tell Sheva was more agile then him.

shareChris has massive muscles and strength, but I think Leon is more agile, as others have said (he's got incredible reflexes, that's for sure). They both have special training and awesome skills, but their debut adventures tell me to vote for Leon.
Chris fought lots of nasty beasts in the mansion and labs (including Tyrant) and came out alive, a most impressive feat. He had limited resources and few allies, but he was a member of STARS.
However, Leon battled through a whole city full of zombies and had multiple duels with a monster which got more powerful with each wound it took. And Leon did all this as a rookie cop with no special training.
