I am stuck on a part in the game where Leon has to press a switch to open a hatch to get two trolls into the lava pit, but the problem is that the switch only works once. I am able to get one of the trolls into the pit, but I am seem to have a hard time getting the other one in there. I was wondering if there was any way to lure both trolls into the lava pit at once.

Mines pack QUITE a punch too.
I just beat the first troll in the village with a couple mines (Granted, it is my second playthru, and you dont have the launcher then at first). I dont remember if you had it when facing the 2 trolls, but if you do, they're your safest bet, besides ofcourse the bazooka which can obliterate them at once.
Mines, you say? I gotta try that, I usually take out Trolls with the TMP.

don't use the rocket launcher, it makes the game less challenging and just turns you into a consumer which is exactly what the merchant wants. just keep climbing up that ladder and sliding down on the mine car. that way the el gigante is far enough away from you so you get some good shots off. i've killed them using only the handgun--yes, the one you start out with. takes alot of time and ammo but it's doable and saves you 30,000 pesetas.

There is also the troll you defeat by just ignoring. You know, if he posts inflamatory messages, just pretend he didn't and don't follow his game because THAT's exactly what he wants.
But as for RE4 trolls, yep, mine launcher. :)

For all you cheap fcks who dont want to spend the measly 30000 pesatos for the rocket launcher you obviously have no lives. Id rather spend the money and be done with the damn trolls then sit there for an hour getting off one shot at a time with the handgun. Some people have to get laid you know.

It must have taken you forever to gun down the troll with the handgun. I don't have the time or patience for that. I'll forsake bragging rights for the rocket launcher anytime in that case ;)
shareI think its no way to trapping both of them to the lava hole. I trapped one and i kill the rest with TMP,even though it was weak but it has a quick fire so if you tuned up your TMP enough it would easy to kill him with just TMP,but i usually use magnum. I never use rocket launcher,i hate the infinite rocket launcher and chicago typewritter,they just spoiling us and make no challenge in the game. I like challenge,i rather to use handgun than a rocket launcher,it just like we will win but it also like we're cheat because use that rocket launcher
