So Grandpa never told his granddaughter he grew up with Bill Cosby?

There were some big logical holes in this film like why would the guy who was Bill Cosby's childhood friend, and the model for the world famous cartoon character "Fat Albert" NEVER mention this fact to his granddaughter...the granddaughter that was supposed to have this amazing bond with him?

I know if I knew a multi-millionaire like Bill Cosby I think I would mention it ... a LOT. Name dropping is cool. Also, I think he'd owe me a check or two being I inspired the character that made him famous.

And does Bill Cosby still live in Philadelphia? Really? I'd think he'd have moved to L.A.

I'm not going to mention that if Fat Albert was supposed to be Doris's grandfather, if he starts getting hot and heavy with Lauri...well, she's his foster granddaughter isn't she? That's getting into Woody Allen territory.
