Jean-Baptiste's power vs Dog's sense of smell ?

What do you think would be his sense of smell compared to a normal dog ?
I was watching a video about how dogs see their world (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7fXa2Occ_U) and thought about how Jean the lead character of this movie also sees his world like this. I am just asking your opinion on his sense of smell compared to a dog or is it even ahead of a dog ?

Since the story is fiction, your question is moot. Let's say for argument's sake Jean-Baptiste could smell women's soiled underwear from twenty miles. My German Shepard Greta could smell the same filthy panties if they were 12 thousand miles away buried in Antarctica. She probably would not sleep well either due to the stench.

He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator.

Comparing human smell to dogs smell is like comparing a post stamp to a football field, so if my smell was that good i would probably end up as a nut job myself... Imagine just smelling thousands of nasty guys underwear ALL the time...
