Watch it with a splash of your favourite scent!

i have a selection of after-shaves which I splash on to watch this movie. Or if the lavender is out in the garden I pick a few sprigs to crush and sniff. It's an extra turn-on while Jean-Baptiste is rushing about in Dustin's workshop mixing essences from here there and everywhere. This movie is a Ben Whishaw special - sort of a vehicle for his loveliness. I hope he made some money out of "Perfume" so he could buy a house in the country and a nice flat in London. Great actor!

They should have released this film in "Odorama;" being familiar with the book beforehand I think that would have gotten me into the theater to see it first-run (I didn't think the story could make a good film so I avoided it til recently). I think it would have been interesting to see it with scents pumped into the theater like they did in the 50s, or scratch cards like John Waters' "Polyester."

I'm actually not even joking.

It would make everyone in the cinema puke first few minutes into the movie.
