It depends why you enjoyed yhis film.
To me this film beautifully demonstrates the purity if innocence and beauty of love . A man who smells a pure heart but unable to express it. He bottled it and wanted to share it and understand its power. The ending showed how it one can be consumed by it. He poured the last phial on those that needed it the most.

it is just a movie. it is no big deal. I think it is ridiculous how people that see this movie overreact so much but they have no problem seeing something like True Blood where people are killed every single episode...
Killing was only a necessity, the point of all this was much higher, not some low psychotic satisfaction from taking lives. Like in 'The Ninth Gate' the character sees a possibility so mindblowing, so fascinating but also the fact that he can walk a path never taken before by any man on this planet all of this make it almost as if he doesn't have a choice but to succumb to his pioneer fate. It is powerful. It is mysticism. Between madness and genuineness lies a very thin line and sometimes they are one.
