Engrossing
I had never heard of this movie before tonight, but decided to watch it. Yes, I found it engrossing. In the earlier scenes when he becomes apprenticed to the perfumier, his methods reminded me very distantly of whiskey blending. What seemed unlikely was how he seemed familiar with the whereabouts of the different constituents, notwithstanding that he had just set foot in the workshop. Towards the end I found myself asking the question, how does the author wind up this tale? To be taken for an angel was very ingenious!
