And go where? She had very little education, no money to up and leave somewhere else, this was her home, her parents her family her friends, etc. Besides, if you get into the habit of running away every time the going got hard, you spend your whole life running away. No matter where you go, there will always be someone who doesn't want you there or who will try to make trouble for you. They didn't run from adversity, they stayed and fought for their right to have equal opportunity to work a job and they won a great many freedoms for all of us. This case put a lot of sexual harrassment laws on the books, and it's in large part because of this case that YOU get to go to work and not HAVE to worry about your boss saying he'll fire you if you don't let him put his hand down your blouse or blow him or whatever. We all owe these women a debt of gratitude.
