Is this movie somewhat similar to Silkwood?

I haven't seen North Country yet, but I loved Silkwood.

Yeah it's kinda like a cross between Silkwood and Norma Rae. I loved Silkwood too and this film isn't as excellent as that, but it's still a powerful social drama that's well worth watching.

It also reminded me of Erin Brockovich
