Ryan moved from WWC to another garage. Beau was already the owner of GAS, which is in the San Fernando Valley of LA.
shareSo the whole programme had to move because Ryan moved?

say wha? ryan owns west coast. Only person that moved was Q he supposedly opened wcc somewhere in mid usa although I dont think that worked out too well. If I am not mistaken WCC signed a deal with discovery to produce its own show so that they could show what they can do to real cars.. not those beater mobiles. Of course show blew unique whips to smithereens because of customization and xzibit signed a deal with that other shop to keep the show going.
Sorry but you are all wrong, not what happened at all. Well, kinda, but not really. MTV went to Gas because of issues with WCC. Ryan bought his new shop in Corona, and they didnt bother renewing for his contract. Xhibit was on a 5 year contract, so they had to finish the last 2 years somewhere. Gas had the shop, and the room to do it, unfortunately they had NO INSTALLERS........so they contacted Car Audio and Electronics Magazine to find people. I was in San Diego along with Cabe Sipes doing a boat build show and we took the gig with MTV in 2005. Cabe lasted about a year there, and i stayed till the last show was done being filmed. Hope this clears up some confusion for you. And Beau is in fact the owner of GAS. He was an awesome boss, we (the installers there) didnt see eye to eye when it came to doing the cars. I regret alot of things that i did to the cars, as i was responsible for doing all the wiring and motorizations, anddoing custom fiberglass work. All the guys in the shop worked hard to get these vehicles done when MTV said they had to be done. Alot of the guys that helped out never made it on an episode. Which sucks. But it is what it is.
as seen on OLN'S "ROCK THE BOAT" and MTV's "Pimp my Ride" 2006-2007
