I would have kept trying to chip through the brick wall. Bricks aren't that thick. They dug through the floor, they should've found something to break through the wall. I also would've searched the house more - checked out the lights, fixtures, painting, etc...
shareI agree. I don't think that they spent enough time trying to find a real way out. They spent too much time arguing.

I agree. That painting kept making me think there was something behind it. The cop shot three bullet holes in the wall. They may have been able to keep chipping away at that.
