question about movie scene?

When the roommate was on a date, and brought her back to the house, and she saw the note when they were looking for some wine, and then she got pissed and left, what was that all about?

I didn't quite understand that scene. Was the note from Jennifer Ganrer? Did she just leave the note because she found out he was going on a date and she was upset?

Sam wrote it, he probably didn't like that girl and when she called he took the message but added his own to the bottom..

Because earlier in the film, the girl named "Persephone"
called Dennis and Sam was the one who answered it.
He was joking about her name saying
"How is it down there? Is it hot?"
referring to the Greek god name 'Persephone' (Queen of the Underworld)
but the girl didn't seem to get his joke.
So you can see him writing a note on a piece of paper when he hang up.

And when Dennis and Persephone came home, she read Sam's note
saying "Persephone called, not smart, not funny. Maybe she will blow you"
which pissed her off.

Sam took a phone call after he woke up and found out he slept through the planting and it was from Persephone calling for Dennis, who had just stormed out the door mad at Sam for sleeping through the planting. He said to Persephone: "sorry, hon, you just missed him, I think he blew off on that biking trip." He joked around with her asking if it was hot down there (ya know, Greek deity, Queen of the underworld and all that) and judging from his end of the conversation when he hung up and walked away saying "geez, it's not like I called her Antigone or anything", she wasn't amused or she had no idea what he was talking about so he wrote down the phone message and obviously wrote "not smart, not funny, maybe she'll blow you" and Persephone found the message while getting the wine glasses. Dennis never even saw it, probably.
