How Much Money Did Grady's Mother Give For Mattie?
They showed Grady's mother giving money for Mattie...I missed the amount on the cheque...did anyone catch the amount?

Still, I could have sworn that the cheque showed a portion of what was written down for the amount [ex: Five hundred thousand dollars]...I just thought that I wasn't quick enough to catch it...I saw it on TV so I didn't have the opportunity to check it out like I would have if I had been watching it on DVD...thanks!
It was just on and I watched that part again reeeal close and you know what? Right below where you could clearly see the pay to part: "Maureen Monette", I could actually make out 'illi' on the line where the amount goes so methinks she gave her the million dollars that Grady apparently had that Eve said earlier to Gray that he must have had in order to generate $48,000 in interest. Not entirely fair for Gray if that was the case as it was her fiance and the kid turned out NOT to be Grady's...Gray wound up with the hot guy in the end, though and apparently, he wasn't hurting for money!
