My Thoughts on Series 2

OK, it's not as good as Series 1, I think that's better pretty well established by the very negative reponse it has received on this forum. However it was still very funny in my opinion. It was laugh out loud material nonetheless, and compare to most comedy programmes its comedy gold. Along with the second series of The Mighty Boosh and Ricky Gervais' Extra's, Night Night 2 has definitely been the best comedy of 2005.

I think the biggest appeal of the show for me comes in the character of Jill, who is such a wonderfully evil creation. Julia Davis has to be a comedy genuis and by the far the funniest female comedian around at the moment. Series 2 for me hasn't been as dark as the first series, its been a lot more silly, and indeed a lot more filthy. There have been some truly wonderful moments in this series and I particularly enjoyed Episodes 4 and 6, which I thought were hilarious.

My favourite scene of the first series were the whole funeral episode and my highlight of the second series was probably the majority of episode 4.

Two questions
1) In the last episode, who was the corpse laid sprawled out as the police drove away?

2) Does everyone think the new series of Nighty Night is terrible in comparison to other television comedy, or just terrible in comparison to the first series.
