At the airport scene near the end, Aaron says "They'll be building their own boxes in another day, and yours already knows what they built" Abe says something like "Abe's box won't work, he's got it wired wrong" This would seem to indicate that "airport" Aaron & Abe have somehow traveled back to a point BEFORE the "original" Aaron & Abe built the first boxes. How?
shareAt one point toward the end, Abe and Aaron both use their fail-safe and go back to the start. But, at this point, they both interfere with their earlier self. (Aaron drugs himself and puts him in the attic. Abe gasses himself and locks him in the bathroom.)Therefore, those two lose that entire day. They don't begin their time travel on that day as they did in a previous timeline. So, the time travelers have successfully pushed back their doubles time travels. Worse yet, Abe has or will sabotage the box to prevent them from using the boxes. This leads Aaron to call on the phone and lets the other Abe know about time travel so he won't give up on his box (which Aaron will duplicate and travel as well).

Thank you for pointing out what should have been obvious to me. I just didn't connect the fact that "original" Aaron and Abe being out of commission and thus out of the picture for the 1st day would allow Abe "2" to sabotage the original box.
I have utilized both sites you mentioned quite a bit, and they are great!
