Why Chavez on the cover?

Didn't Billingsley have a bigger role than Chavez in this movie? Assuming that Chavez is number 4, why is he on the cover and not Billingsley?

I really think the only reason is for diversity, and maybe because Garrett Hedlund (Billingsley) is noticeably taller than the rest.

The cover is a picture of the captains walking out for the coin toss. Billingsley isn't there because he wasn't a captain, because he was basically a blocking FB and a playboy, not a star on the team. Chavez was the heart and soul of the defense (not ivory, who was mostly ambivalent and had a love/hate relationship with football).

Cwebb44 is exactly right.

The movie poster pic mimics the book's cover photo, which shows the three captains walking out for a coin toss. Billingsley wasn't a captain, and therefore wasn't in the pic.
