Word of advice: Don't base your decision on watching this movie based on bad reviews. I almost wasn't going to watch this film due to the bad reviews, and I'm glad I made up my mind for myself. But its one of those things that happen, that I call the "parrot effect", someone or a movie gets a bad rap and the masses go off repeating the same thing. Too bad though, this movie did belong in the theaters.
shareI based it on absolutely nothing other than the fact that I like Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey... and it was awful. It was probably one of the most cliche-ridden over the top "bad cop" films I've ever seen. Get ready for years of this on Sunday Afternoon UPN.
shareThought the movie was surprisingly good. MF and KS are always good, Dylan McDermatt and LL were also good, and Timberlake was decent enough to believe. Some cliche, but was worth watching at least once. The cool thing is, regardless of what you've heard about this story, I know for a fact that it is loosely based on a true story about a police force in the states from awhile back, but of course fabricated. Not enought to successfully judge timberlake's acting abilities though.
