Great Cast, what happened? Spoiler alert

I can't quite put my finger on what was wrong with this movie. What great potential, I mean, Kevin Spacy, Morgan Freeman, come on. I was very surprised will LL Cool J. I thing he did a great job. Justin did alright as well, it's hard for people to get past the Pop prince veil, so he's going into the project with points against him, but I think he's got potential. I think what may have been the problem was the initial crime. It seemed like such a small crime, a drug guy gets popped, and it's enough to take down the whole FRAT program? And it's all set off by a "Thank You" in the court room? That just seemed too weak to me. Maybe it's just me though. Did this go to the theater? If so I never saw any trailers or TV spots.

Personally, I don't think cops murdering guys, no matter whether they are drug dealers or not, is "such a small crime".

The guys in the FRAT program were criminal psychos, with the possible exception of Rafe.

Ok, in the real world yeah, any murder is bad, I'm just talking movie world here, where people get blown away as easily as ordering from McDonalds, both are bad but they happen all the time. It just seemed like something that could have easily been swept under the carpet by such experienced crooks. I just felt there could have been a stronger force to push for the end of the whole FRAT enterprise. Just my opinion though.
