Vancouver, BC. I live there and recognized the Bentall Center, the Plaza of Nations, the docks, the Convention center/Cruise ship center, the old courthouse, the cement factory, and others.

The nightclub and beating scene is Granville St, Vancouver.

I was there the night it was shot. Can't tell you how satisfying it was to watch Timberlake being kicked in the stomach, repeatedly.

Actually, the nightclub scene was in Blunt Brothers, a local Marijuana bar on Hastings St. They shut it down for 3 days and we had no place to go smoke our dope... Damn you Timberlake!
