WHOA WHOA WHOA!

It could be because I am currently intoxicated...but this movie is TOTALLY not what I expected!

As a long time JT fan, I had to amazon this baby because I've really wanted to see it for like 2 years now. So like...all of my favorite people are in this thing!

Justin!
Morgan Freeman!
KEVIN SPACEY!!
Dylon McDermont...one of my all time faves. Remember when he was in Miracle on 34th Street when we were kids? Super cute. And he was on that one show about lawyers..and he always cried in every epsiode.

I LOVE HIM.

And LL Cool J...who is aight, I could really take him or leave him. He usually grows on me as movies DRAG on.

And that Carey guy from The Princess Bride--super cool, always loved him.

AND the dad from Home Alone--I have really always loved him, too. He's great at playing badguys.

Now I'm biased because I've loved himlongtime, but I will say that Justin was super cheesy and flat at the beginning of the movie. He didn't really get too much better...but he wasn't super bad. He was okay. I mean, it was his first movie (which really isn't true because I know many remember MODEL BEHAVIOR, which premiered on the Disney Channel a superlong time ago--LOVESIT).

I thought it was dumb when he got beat up and was bloody. He didn't pull that off.

But like...HATS OFF to Dylan McDermont, man...he was so effing badASS in this movie! He was all coked out and crazy and his eyes were all red all the time...and he was always wired and alloverhtheplace.

MAN. Effing crazy. I loved it.

I thought Morgan had some SUPER funny lines...and I can't remember any of them now, so...
But they were really funny.
Man...I can't remember.

I'm typing this as I'm watching it...it's at the end and I'm losing interest...

Oh yeah,
Kevin Spacey was a little weird...I mean, I love him a whole lot, but he was super girly I felt like...
Prancin around with his little bolo ties...
He was so matter of fact about the crap he said...it was kinda prissy.
But I still love him a whole bunch.

Piper Perabo? Ehh,,,she's whatever.

ALL IN ALL...my favorite part was everything Dylan McDermont was in--he was so badass.

LL Cool J was pretty cool too, I guess..

HAHAHA they're on the car chase right now...
It is really cheesy.
Justin sounds like a loser when he says *beep*

Okay...I'm finished.
Basically, Dylan McDermont is the best.

reply

drunken fool. Now watch it again without your beer-goggles

reply

LOL!
Totally true. The worst film, i have ever seen.

reply

First of all, I was stoned, not drunk.

And number two: of COURSE the movie sucked. It was probably one of the worst I've ever seen.

If you would've read correctly, I was commenting on the ACTORS, not the movie itself. Moron.

reply

"I was stonted, not drunk." If I had a dollar for everytime I heard that...hilarious.

I didn't watch the movie but my mom did and she said it was ok but Justin's acting was really poor but then again his acting is always poor. I've never been able to believe him in the movies he's in.
Of course Dylan's psycho coke-head character was the most entertaining, according to the 'rent.
Is it worth watching? I already know it's not worth buying.

Antiquus Anser.
That means Ancient Goose. Remember that.

reply

Well...I believe every movie is worth watching, so I'd say check it out.
It's a really bad movie, but McDermont is really awesome.
Justin is weird.
The whole movie is kinda campy.

But watch it! Maybe you like bad movies like I do.

reply

stoned or drunk who cares - bad acting = bad movie so moron yourself you addict

reply

So like...you're a loser.

What are you, like 15? Grow up.

Most educated people know that marijuana does not cause addiction.
It's habitual, man.

reply

I like bad movies.

I liked it.

Kevin Spacey is prob one of my fav actors and he just wasn't used to his full potential in this or given a clear role - we didn't even really get to the bottom of who he really was.

I'll give JT a break as it was his first-ish movie. It was pretty weak but he's learning - I don't think he was cut out to be an actor.

Morgan Freeman looked like he didn't really want to be in the movie. I mean it's not Academy stuff is it?

But it was reasonably entertaining if not just to see all those actors interact. I think there was like a clash of actors in that movie. A lot of good ppl who didn't fit well together not helped by the newcomer JT.

LL Cool J was a little stiff, but he didn't overact which can sometimes be better than underacting :)

I agree than Dylan McDermott was the most convincing - it's like he really believed the story and got into the script - I think the others let him down a bit.

I never find that guy who played Tilman very convincing in anything but actually when he's interviewed afterwards that's just how he is - you realise he's sorta being himself on the movie which is kind of nice - natural.

Thanks for your time :)
