Noise and Music too loud...?

Was anyone else bothered by the excessively loud music and noise that did not end during conversations, making it hard for me to hear what was being said {although in this terrible movie i'm not sure i missed much}? Or was it just me? or the cinema?.

I was a bit amazed when Morgan Freeman started dancing to the MUSIC~~i was thinking, that's cool, he can hear it too....

Soooo agreed! Thought it was my DVD, but it was happening too much! You can't understand what some characters say, on many occasions, cause the mike was too high and too far away from the actors, that's obvious. And I had to watch the whole movie at volume 35 (usually I never go over 28). But then, when the music hits, I had to get it down to 20 in order not to upset the reasonable beings in my neighborhood. Nuts.

yeah, the volumes crazy! its so loud, and apart from that, the choice of music throughout the movie was totally wrong (a monk-choir?!?!). i think the directors knew they had a really poor script and had to do everything to "hide" it, and a way to do that is to bring on loud and "annoying" music...

seriously, one of the poorest movies in many years (if you take in account the, usually, good actors taking part).
right now im having a good laugh hearing how justin prepared for the role..... i tell you, the extra-material is more entertaining than the movie itself.

The volume on mine was fine as I turned this crap-fest off after 12 minutes of pain. I then went for a nice walk and wondered why and how this piece of turd was made and while I think of it, what were Morgan Freeman & Kevin Spacey were thinking?

And what was with the wailing soprano every time something a bit sad happened? This back vocal is a standard issue effect in many movies of late, are we all supposed to reach for the tissues when it's heard?
