Why was this movie not released in theaters? WHY?

Over the movie was alright....I have seen worse this year...the dialogue was not very good, predictable, and the story kinda messy but it was still entertaining somewhat.

The cast was amazing and I am sure with Timberlake in there...having his CD and all....this would have made at least 20 million opening week with just him alone in it.

The movie didn't feel like a Direct to DVD movie overall I would rate the movie a C.

Wicker Man, Underworld 2, Silent Hill, Covenant, I could go on... there are tons more movies worse than Edison Force this year.

This was one of the worst films I have ever seen in my entire life. That's why it wasn't released in theatres.

It was not released in theaters because it sucks! And the main reason for being garbage is Timberlake... Sorry, I mean, a piece of cardboard they call Timberlake.

Good they realized a movie need much more than a couple of stars to be in theaters. Those other movies you mentioned do not deserve to be in theaters either.

Oh it was so bad. and the black dude Cool J is so pathetic. He's got no personality. He's just a terrible actor.

because I'd rather sit in a box for 1.5 hours than ever sit through this crud in a cinema (in fact that's not true I didn't even finish it)

20 MILLION?! Are you high?

This movie is really really bad, but its true, with this cast it coulda got a lot more than 20m. Hey, transformers 3 got almost 1000m, so anything is possible. I dont think LL was that bad, he was decent imo, but JT was funny how bad he was. I think hes way better now, still not a decent actor.

A C grade is not exactly a stellar endorsement.
