I don't know why.. but the whole time he was trying to be all animalistic and badass, ALL I could think about was how nice and fresh his newly cut hairstyle was.. It distracted me from the movie and wasn't believable, that he would be some sort of monster. Just the thought of him sitting at the barbers chair and asking for a number 2 short back and sides killed it for me!

To be fair though you gotta admit it would have been stupid had he come out looking like he hadn't bathed for 200 years. I mean that dishevelled hobo-look ain't frightening anyone .

LOL, I couldn't agree more.
I kept thinking all the time that he -as well as many of his guys- looked like metrosexual models instead of terrifying vampires, due to their neat haircuts and fancy clothes. It distracted me quite a bit, too.
