I thought the flick was OK for the first hour. Not a very intelligent or good film but entertaining. But Jesus Christ, it nearly takes 2h and it's not as there is any twists or anything new and interesting happening conc. the plot.
It's never ending fights, no character development (I usually don't care about that but in this case all the characters were so stiff and boring - just as the story itself!) at all and it's the same **ap over and over again for nearly 2h. Are you **cking kidding me??!

Next thing to **tch about is the story itself. Mentally retarded vampires in the middle of nothing. They come from nowhere, talk in a funny language, are all in all SLOW with thinking, walking and searching - obviously not hungry enough to spark some undead brain cells to get some fresh meat, huh?
And what is it with their eyes anyway???!

Agree completely with the OP. This had good atmosphere, a strong premise, and striking cinematography, but the story just trudged forward and was excruciatingly repetitive with dull characters.

there language is a man made language that simulates real life languages you might find in africa. they use click consonants
