Why do black people always get killed off first?

its true and there is a whole society dedicated to the 'black horror community.' I heard someone else say this and looked into it. Here is the link:

Seriously, you got this from the whole movie.... this is what stood out to you the most..... wow. It must be a conspiracy....... seriously come on man. Besides the first to die was an old white man. So there ya go.

I can fully agree. Just watched Dark Days. Only black member out of the resistance group and none of them have ever died until then, and it had to be him.

Although a little bit off topic:
Can´t help thinking of "Night of the living dead" where the main character (and my fav. hero) is black, survives all the badass zombies--and is killed by the rescue force. I don´t remember the details, but the way the film was made I always had the feeling, he was killed because he was black. Because nobody seemed to feel the need to check if he really was human or a zombie, they just killed him.
I still think they would have double-checked if he was a white guy.




But I must admit I never really recognized the "the black main character is killed first" stuff in movies. The first time i heard something like that was when they made fun of it in movies like "Deep blue sea".

Oh shuuuuuuuuuut uuuuuuuuuup ! Black people i know in London cringe at statements like that - we are in the 21st century now , wake up & smell the cool .
