Does anyone think this episode is reminiscent of a Tales from the Crypt episode. It's from sixth season called Comes the Dawn. It maybe that it was an old story that I an unaware of, either way let me know what you think.
shareWell, Comes the Dawn was a tale from the Tales from the Crypt comic that featured a vampire in Alaska the twist being that since it was Alaska, dawn would be three weeks away. It was made into an episode in the series featuring a bunch of vampires living in Alaska, some of them looked just like the vamps in From Dusk till Dawn.
Then there where Frostbite, a Swedish film written in 1999 and released in 2006 about a master vampire living in a desolte town above the arctic circle praying on the town youth. This was a horror comedy and a underrated one to. It was like if The Lost Boys hade went to Barrow.
Non of these works have any real similarites with one another of 30 Days of Night other than vampire around the north pole and that both Frostbite and 30 Days of Night had a blonde child vampire.
