Yes but this stars the talented and hot Lucy Lui while Boogyman stared an actor who is best known for aabsolutely sucking at acting.

What killed Boogeyman was not the acting. The acting was fine. What killed Boogeman was the remarkably lame script. Let's hope this one has better.

and Lucy Liu can't act that well. Nor is she that hot. She'll need a decent script to pull off the movie.

Lucy Lui is both a talented actress and an amazing bueaty and yes a good script is needed, but its needed for pretty much every movie to be good.

OK. I just stumbled upon this movie, and want to make a few comments:

1. This movies look inriguing enough to interest me. So I'll probably go see it.
2. Lucy Liu is only an even actress. But she IS stunning! Personal opinion, and you are entitled to your own. Perhaps she will show more versatility in this movie, with a role she can sink her teeth in to! (pun intended )
3. I have looked up Margo Harshman. Now tell me why I should care. A rank of mostly TV appearances (and DISNEY ones at that!) does not grab my attention.

Bring me the head of Uwe Boll!!!

The Disney stuff is pretty old. There's at least 5 features that haven't been released yet. Maybe those will make you care. I guess we'll all have to wait and see.

I saw this movie over the summer(although a somewhat early version of it),and I have to say, It's one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I wanted to see what everyone was talking about on this board, but they seemed so happy. So I never said anything. The best part of this movie is that Lucy Liu gets completely naked. The acting is horrible, the story is horrible too. So I don't know why anyone would be interested in it. If any good things come of this movie, maybe we'll have a new movie for MST3K.

Sam Raimi is the man so im supportive of all the Ghost House production features but, im still waiting for one of them to make me go wow. That was a decent flick. The Grudge was ok, Grudge 2 an ok follow up.. Boogeyman dont get me started on Boogeyman it was just horrible. Im not gonna give up though. Maybe this one will be better. But so far it kinda sounds like a thriller esque version to Kill Bill... But thats just my opinion.

I saw a test screening. FX weren't ready and they were still editing. It feels more like a noir thriller than straight or j-horror. But it's a sexy R. Lucy Liu is like Nikita with a xbow and Carla Gugino is smokin hot lesbian vampire. Marilyn Manson has a cameo as a bartender and hes good. Margo harshmann is really good as the daugher of Michael Chiklis and has a big part. DEf million X better than Boogeyman and Grudge 2!!!!!
More superhero Raimi like Darkman with vampirz.

It was at an AMC near Long Beach CA. When I left, no one seemed happy about the movie either.
