Saw it, not worth it

It was playing in my area so I checked it out.

The movie does have a surprisingly good cast. Lucy Liu, Mako, the dude from "Fantastic Four", the dude from "American Haunting", ect,ect,ect. Lots of familiar faces.

Unfortunatly, the dialogue sucks and it hurts all of their performances. Liu does fine, but has nothing really to do........Mako makes a fool of himself in his last performance(and he doesn't have a big role), "The Thing" plays a pissed off version of "The Thing", and the dude from American Haunting actually does the best......he was fun to watch.

The plot feels like "Kill Bill" meets "The Crow" meets "Vampires" with a hint of "The Forsaken" added.

The action is redundant and bland.

The directing is alright. At times the movie can be quite daring and the director does one scene very well(when we see two vamps eating some gal), the rest varies from bland, to crap, to decent.

The subplots are too many and often rushed.

The movie does offer decent gore and nudity though........

Overall, 4/10
