Bottom line - do you believe the husband did it?

Bearing in mind he is the only person alive who 100% knows the truth and that the evidence is circumstantial, short of daming, it boils down to whether you believe the husband's account of events or not. Personally I don't and I think he caused her death, possibly deciding not to save it and let her bleed to death.

Everything about him: his attitude and demeanour, what he says, how he says it, his body language, his decisions - reeks of guilt. In short, my gut, says he is lying and that I can see through the smokescreen he has been putting out. Compare that with the man in the film, Greg Taylor, who was found innocent after 17 years in jail - a sincere, credible guy.

I want to lean towards no...but I have no idea. He seemed like he really loved his wife, and family, and even though he is a really weird dude and pretty narcissistic, I can’t imagine him doing that to her, but who knows.

It was crazy to have that happen from a fall though...must have been a perfect storm of a fall to cause all of that damage. It’s strange she had no fractures. Just a very strange case in general.

Three things I do know, is first, Peterson’s lawyer was REALLY good at his job! It was fun watching him prepare and execute his defense plan in court. And two, the sister Candace is an absolute lunatic. I understand grieving for your sister, but this woman was on a rampage. Wow. And third, all of these people who proclaim without a doubt whether he was guilty or innocent are full of shit. Just because you don’t like the guy and he’s a weirdo narcissist doesn’t mean he killed his wife, and just because he loves his family and the documentary is told from his point of view doesn’t mean he is innocent.

Only two people know what actually happened, and one of them is dead.

Anybody who believes that pro defense ass kissing documentary is an idiot.

From the very beginning he is a liar when he claims they went outside by the pool and drank wine. It was 32 degrees that night. Who sits and drinks wine by the pool in freezing temps? If that is not enough he claims that AFTER she retired supposedly for bed he remained out there for 2 hours. Then when he finally comes in oops she was bloody at the foot of the stairs and almost dead.

If only he had come in 10 minutes earlier. Poor guy. Give me a fucking break.

Decades ago when I worked at the gas station and constantly saw the newspaper headlines for "Michael Peterson" yes. After seeing this real life documentary decades later, no I don't think he did.

The wife was drunk at the pool, went inside, went up the stairs, got out and put out Christmas lights, then went down towards the stairs, got assaulted by an owl, talons piercing into her skull flesh, blood everywhere, owl microfeathers found in her fingernails, and she falls down the stairs in absolute agony, blood pouring out everywhere, while drunk, gets up, slips, bangs head, knocked out, still drunk, gets up, falls again, gets up, slips, falls, bangs head, continues to bleed out, husband arrives witnessing the end of this absolute terror, she dies.

It's absolute insanity what happened to this woman.
