Naruto or one piece?
I like both the anime's but im not sure because they're so different it's hard to decide

shareThis isn't even a discussion, one piece.
shareI would say Naruto. Naruto overall seems more serious. Sure, occasionally they'll have some humorous scenes, but with One Piece it's almost nonstop with the dumb humor. Also, the weird designs in One Piece can be off putting. Oh yeah, and the fact that no one ever dies in One Piece. Overall I would say Naruto is a much better series.
shareAll I can say is that the guy who posted above, clearly hasn't watched a lot of one piece. I respect his opinion, but there's a lot of false statements there. There's dumb humor in all anime. As someone whose watched from episode 1-670, the humor is no more silly, or dumb than any other anime that's been made. It really depends on what he humor of the viewer is. For any story, if you like and enjoy each character, then you'll enjoy the humor of the show and the characters.
As for character designs, I don't know what's weird about them. Each character is very detailed and styled. Not all anime are drawn the same. To say Naruto's designs are better than one piece is silly, Naruto's designs are generic and you can see them in a lot of anime. That's not just my opinion, that's fact. One pieces' art style is very unique.
And yes, people do die. The show starts off with someone dying lol. But, I can understand why you would say that, cause I said that same thing when I started watching it. Which is why I assume you haven't seen very much of the show. As the show goes on, it's goes more from a kids show to an young adult show. There's more cussing, more blood, and more violence and even some adult content as well. Anyone whose watched one piece up till the latest episode will also agree when I say that one of the coolest characters of any anime gets killed in a major arc, and that characters death is actually still causing a ripple even in the lastest arc.
I respect your opinion on what show you think is better, but if Naruto was better than one piece, it would be Naruto that's still being written today, rather than one piece. Lol
I've seen every episode that's aired on Cartoon Network, so I've definitely seen a lot of One Piece.
shareSo you've only seen up to the ennies lobby arc. That's were the series really starts to take off. At least in my opinion. Besides, you can't watch a show like that once every Saturday. You have to watch it back to back to back. I'm sure you could agree with watching Naruto that way or which ever show you're into.
I didn't think I would enjoy full metal alchemist or Trigun that way, then I actually started watching the show altogether and both turned out to be pretty good shows.

Personally, I find it hard to choose. I love them both(and Inuyasha as well). But if someone points a gun to my head and makes me choose one strictly, it would be One Piece. Here are my reasons
1. Superficially, One Piece doesn't look all that great. Luffy's power is nothing to write home about. It seems too dumb and idealistic but if you look closer, you'll find possibly the greatest series since Dragonball
2. Oda does not kill many people in real time largely because he wants death to count. In his SBS interview, he said resurrection after death cheapens the story. Thus, when he does kill someone, you can be sure they're never coming back. Even those people who do survive play an important role later on.
3. Naruto has a good story but it doesn't seem half as meticulously woven as One Piece. Just think: Buggy was the second villain to be introduced. He wasn't just another villain "Ko'ed" by Luffy in one arc and forgotten. He's played a very important role in the impel down arc and the war of the best and will do so in future with his current position. Likewise, Ace is first mentioned in Drum Island along with the Blackbeard Pirates. They're properly introduced in Alabasta and Jaya and play an integral role in future. That is without mentioning the longer-term mysteries that revolve around the dreams of the Straw Hats(particularly, what is one piece?)Oda plays the long game and when he puts all the pieces of the puzzle together, it leaves you amazed and wanting more. It's extremely hard to predict what's going to happen just by skimming.
4. The character designs in One Piece are not the traditional Japanese anime and manga type we're so used to since Tezuka but it works for me. If it doesn't for you, I respect that.
5. Sure, there is some amount of humor in One Piece but the emotional scenes are where it rules. Oda can sometimes convey oceans of meaning with the simplest of gestures. If you want particular examples, think of when they show off their crosses in Alabasta or when the Straw Hats all gather around the tower of justice to face the CP9. These are just 2.
Thus, One Piece does have a lot more to offer than meets the eye.
One Piece, no questions.
Naruto has jumped the shark long time ago.
Did someone really say you can't watch a show like One Piece once a week? Isn't that how it airs in Japan?
shareI said that.
Anyone who watches anime and enjoys what they're watching would rather watch the show continuously rather then one episode every week. Obviously with the new episodes you have to watch once every week, but if people had a choice they rather it be multiple episodes once every week then just one. One piece is definitely the kind of show that should be watched continuously cause it's that good.
Couldn't agree any more on that. Due to constraints, I was unable to watch this anime for like 8 years after I came to know about it (In 2006). But I started watching it since this september (2014) and currently I am on episode 420. I have watched it everyday and have watched like 50 episodes on one weekend. It's damn addictive.
One Piece definitely, no question about it.
shareOne Piece.
Imdb is not a pit. Imdb is a ladder.
I haven't seen Naruto but One Piece has some serious acclaim. It seems to be the better reviewed of the two, so it might be the safer bet. I started reading the One Piece manga recently and am finding it enjoyable!

Definitely One Piece.
Naruto starts very good but then by the end of it we can see the author getting lost on the answers and not putting all of his heart in the project which is a shame that Naruto didnt deserve. Naruto's director went on the easy way, the money way.
One Piece doesn't have the brilliant start other shows have. Its more of a long shot show but for me thats what really matters and what keeps me hooked.
Its just is the most espectacular pirates series ever and after One Piece the world will be a different place. Im shore of it. This is one of those defining shows for TV. Like Sopranos, Oz, Twilight Zone, The Wire, Twin Peaks, and many others shows that shaped TV to what it is today One Piece has the same effect for manga and anime.
Its drama, comedy, action, mistery, fantastic script, wonderful music and the most brilliant character of all time, Monkey D. Luffy, makes this series a must watch for all those who claim to be tv lovers such as myself.
And one more thing, in Oda's last interview in 2014 he said he still has more ten years of one piece histories for us. So as u can see this show is the epic amongst the epics!
I like both but give the edge to Naruto because unlike Oda, Kishimoto is actually willing to kill off characters.
shareThe only character with any importance that died besides the villains was Jiraiya. The rest were fodders.
I'm the Corruptor.

one piece is the best without any doubt for my and i think the most votes will be one piece because one piece is better and this is a one piece boared
