So what if it's OTT

I'm finding it hard to understand the hate, the film isn't trying to be realistic, it is deliberately being over the top.

Besides, how is this any different from most of the James Bond films? An invisible car, impossible stunts, going in to space, were just a few of the series ridiculous concepts, yet no one bats an eyelid at it just because it's James Bond.

There are films that are masterpieces of filmmaking, and then there are films (like Transporter 2) that are just made so you can chill out and have fun. Both types of film can be appreciated and loved.

Here, here! It's just outrageous fun; so what if Frank is super-human, and defies the laws of gravity. For some reason it doesn't annoy me, it is just an impossible adventure flick; fun and entertaining.

I agree with the OP and Susan. Just saw it for the first time today and enjoyed every minute of it! I loved the first but loved this even more! Just gotta see #3 now! :)
