It was 100% not Nora's fault

During the three-way phone call why didn't Luther just interrupt and tell Blair; NO? He was well within his rights to do that; why didn't he? Didn't anyone remember that Nora said that she was not going to come home from the cruise right after what happened to her in the mall? Did they forget that the constant harassment was getting to her so that she couldn't drive from her home to a store at any given time to just run errands without the neighbors assuming constantly that she was going to try to skip out and head for the tropics? Nobody should have to go through that! Though as shrill and annoying as her voice is, she's often shrieking out her lines; she still stood by Luther through it all. She was packing for the trip to the tropics when the phone call from Blair happened and that was after Luther already received two different calls demanding Frosty. Once Blair called to tell Luther that she's coming back then and only then did Nora turn on him regarding their trip. Remember the expression on her face when Blair asked for pies and hickory honey ham as she let it all sink in. It was a look that said, "Great. What do I do now?" Before that moment she was completely on board with Luther's plan for, "Christmas? What's that?" She only turned for her daughter; not peer pressure.
