But what happened during the ending.. was Justin Murdered,commit suicide or was he set free?

Or was the large funeral for Justin..

I only got to see the ending.. so I didnt quite understand the ending.

Justin was murdered(they shot him if my recollection is correct).

Justin was murdered. It is a supposed suicide, but at his funeral Tess' Cousin Ham remarks that Justin was shot "no less than eight times by three different, none of which matched the gun he was carrying". In a way it sort of was a suicide though. Justin knew there was a contract on his head and it was only a matter of time before he was killed. So he made sure that Ham would get the necessary information to expose the scandal and went to the place where his wife was murdered to die.
