That's "gardens", without the apostrophe.

I know what you mean, though. A more appropriate title would have been "The Intermittent Gardener" or perhaps "I Garden Sometimes". There was not a lot of gardening going on in this movie and as an avid home gardener myself I was hoping to pick up a few tips or critique a gardening technique or improbability.

I only hope his body was laid to rest as was his wife's so somebody could cultivate a thriving garden over his grave, in the style of "Where the red fern grows". Maybe that's what's meant as being a constant gardener - his dirt nap, forever and ever. Humans who bury their dead in hermetically sealed caskets of plastic, wood, and metal and encase them in tombs of concrete are missing the entire point and life cycle of nature. Therefore the human race is doomed.
