i know its weird me saying this but ive always been concerned about the crisis in developing countries but this movie really helped me open my mind and want to act against the problems in africa and the rest of the developing world. im going get a degree in politics and from then choose a route which will help others..has anyone else been affected in the same way?

The Constant Gardener has certainly opened up my mind to problems in the pharmaceutical industry and the development of drugs, and the whole way that the western world uses and abuses developing countries. If and when I can, I want to work for an aid agency in some way, either in my home country doing admin work or out in the field (if I have the courage). We understand too little the problems of developing countries, and this film is a real eye-opener.
Good luck with your degree. Congratulations. You're doing a wonderful thing, and I hope it brings you great sucess and you feel you're achieving something very valuable.

I actually looked up my local amnesty international branch to volunteer sadly they said they were only a very tiny organisation with barely a building. I still look for opportunities to volunteer for groups like the Samaritans or NSPCC among others.
