Rachel Weisz gave birth to a son in 2006, and this film was shot in 2005. The nude scenes of the pregnant Tessa are very realistic. I haven't been able to find the answer to this anywhere: was Rachel actually pregnant in the nude scenes?

No, she was not.

This movie was released in August 2005 and she delivered her baby in May 2006. She could not be pregnant while making this movie.

I must say I thought same thing as you did... She looked really pregnant to me...

Yes, especially since she accepted her Oscar for this while pregnant. But that wasAlmost a year after the film had wrapped.

The make up effects was very good for the pregnancy bit.
