Why does this show have localised names?
Why not just call it "Air Crash Investigation" everywhere?

Because if the broadcasters don't like the name, they change it. They do the same with the episodes as well. The episodes will often be called something else depending on the channel. The show is meant to be called Mayday, but some broadcasters decided to change it.
shareMayday sounds too commie in the United States.
