Boeing 747's Depicted

I've noticed some mistakes with a few episodes. Namely those being the episode's based on the Air India Flight 182's bombing off the coast of Ireland and SAA Fire on board the Heldaberg. Both planes depicted seemed to be Boeing 747-300's when they should of been 200 series aircraft? (As seen from the extended upper deck which i believe were the features on only a minority of -200 series aircraft).

Also the episode of Korean Air Flight 801 that crashed in Guam, the Aircraft is ment to be a Boeing 747-300 yet its depicted as being a 747-400 externally from the winglets that can be seen at the end?

You would of thought they'd would realise such errors? Even the cockpits of the old aircraft have digital 'home built' displays unlike the original episodes of the early series which used real flight simulators which looked far more realistic.

Finally, the narrator (in the UK) switches between saying 737 (Seven-Three-Seven) and Seven-Thirty-Seven, as he does with seven-four-seven and seven-fourty-seven. Why??

I've seen more flagrant continuity errors in other movies such as interchanging stock footage of two and four engine airliners for the same plane.

True. The narrator is reading from the script, it could be how it's written. As to wrong aircraft depicted, most people don't know the difference. It's like showing a 1968 Camaro for a 1969 Camaro. Can you tell the difference?

Don't forget the error in the Swissair 111 episode, where it says he shuts off the #2 engine, but you see the #3 engine being shut down.

One of the clangers they repeatedly drop in the show is mixing up the nav lights. The port side nav light is always red, and the starboard side green. They seem to keep swapping them in the show.
