PSA 182, San Diego?

The 1978 crash in San Diego- they've not yet covered that, right? Has there been any talk of covering that in the future?

It was dissapointing regarding de-icing they did the itty bitty Dryden airport crash when the one at Washington, D.C. really pointed out the lax attitude the pilot had before he crashed into the drink.

And I doubt they'll ever do the Hudson Miracle because it was all over within 5 minutes and the pilot did everything right.

I don't believe the PSA 182 has been covered but it would be good to see it.

They should do the Lauda Air one as well.

Hudson has been done to death!

Regarding the Miracle on the Hudson, they've already shot it, the working title was called "Ditching on the Hudson". Principle photography began on August 23/10 and wrapped on August 27/10. Most likely it will air in the fall, maybe spring.

Yes, we've all seen the exterior videos of the plane ditching and the boat rescue...

However, this episode shows the drama from inside the plane when it ditched and when the plane began to flood and sink and the panicking passengers trying to get out. And the usual NTSB investigation.

They most likely won't do PSA 182 (1978). Mayday only does accidents that have resulted in major changes in aviation regulations.

They did however, do Aeromexico 498 (1986) which resulted in major changes in aviation rules finally being implemented, even though both accidents were very similar.

Girl... Just what exactly is that tacky outfit trying to say?

PSA 182 is going to be aired this month sometime--I saw a commercial for it.

Actually, PSA 182 led to a major overhaul on all TRSA policies within major airports and the creation of Class B airspace by the FAA.

The episode based on it aired last week in Canada. It is called "Blind Spot".
