Wow, whoever played the stewardess on the doomed Air Ontario jet in this great episode is absolutely stunning! Plenty of lingering unnecessary shots of her :) Anyone know who played her? Our episode got deleted
And before anyone asks, no, looking for pretty girls is not the main reason for watching the show. But having seen every episode five times, you pick up on other things than the technical aerodynamic linguistics. :)
by - jonathan-869-442198 on Wed Oct 13 2010 06:44:11 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The super hot girl that played the stewardess is Shauna Bradley. Cant seem to find her anywahere on the internet tho. She is stunning. That one boy playing a role on the flight just igored her smile. I wanted to smack him.
Good call jonathan.
Girl... Just what exactly is that tacky outfit trying to say? reply share
seriously!! i am a 30 year old woman, and straight, but as i said to my boyfriend who was watching the episode with me, 'i think that woman is maybe the most beautiful i have ever seen!' .. he didn't agree. he's nuts, she was crazy pretty. so funny to come across this post :)
Lots of pretty girls, almost every episode. Smithsonian, who's now calling the show "Air Disasters", just showed "The Plane That Flew Too High" and the girl who plays the lead investigator for the accident (for the Venezuelan version of the NTSB) was pretty smokin'. Nice form! And the week before that, they aired "Cleared for Disaster", and the girl who played the LAX police officer was also very pretty (much prettier than her real life counterpart, who also made an appearance; woof).
This aired on Smithsonian's as Season 1, Episode 6 of "Air Disasters" (Episode guide here: http://www.smithsonianchannel.com/site/sn/show.do?series=802#episode-g uide) Parts of it reappeared in "Cruel Skies" a S2 special that dealt with weather related aviation accidents and used other flights throughout the episode as examples in addition to the Southern Airways Flight 242 (it's supposed to use the same name when aired as a "Mayday", "Air Emergency", etc. show, but I can't find the IMDB entry for it).
Anyway, one of the attendants had her hair styled with her bangs held back with one of those plastic hair clips, something that you'd usually see on a younger person, especially with the schoolgirl-like uniform they depicted. OK, that's a little perverted to be attracted to some "pretend jail-bait", but it made an impression on me and I thought she looked cute as hell when I saw it. Plus, they showed her smiling at one of the passengers during boarding, and her smile made a bigger impression.
Funny thing now is, I can't remember which it was of the two actresses who are credited as flight attendants. Probably Brittany Allen because her face is more familiar to me and I don't think I've seen anything else she's credited for under IMDB.
Oh well, whoever it is, she was the one in this episode who yells "Brace for impact!" Although she's not shown, the audio of this is used every week now in the opening titles/credits for the Smithsonian version.
But again, wow. Hats of to the casting person for getting all the hotties. I hope they're being paid well.
If you were to open the link that El_Jeffro had posted in their reply for Mayday (2003– ), "Southern Storm" @http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1124801/, the two girls were credited there; for crying out loud, no help was needed..;) :)
