Am I the only one who just does not get this show?
I watch it and it just seems so boring and trivial ... I can never get into it or care about it. What am I missing?

It’s satirical. The few eps I saw years ago were funny but I just couldn’t get into them at that time.
But over the past months I started watching and I just couldn’t stop!
Carell is amazingly funny and so adorable in this. But truly, as in Seinfeld ( my favorite comedy ) ALL the characters are necessary to make this show work.
When Carell left, something was lost , Helms wasn’t enough to fill the void left by SC. That’s why many episodes had fillers of shows with Andy’s music ( so damn boring).
