Why did Vance go to all that trouble?

The guy is a sleazebag, why would be go to the trouble of hiring Hitch, meeting with him and paying him money just to try to get a girl into bed? Why wouldn't he just move on to whatever willing girl he found next?

Seriously that part made no sense. "She was sooooo hot I need to sleep with her."
And he doesn't think that about tons of other women who are models, famous, etc?
It was kind of ridiculous. What kind of woman is so worth JUST a one-night stand that you would pay money to TRY to get to them? Looked like he was writing a crazy high check.

It's on right now and I know this thread is pretty old but I think he did that because he does say "she's not returning my calls", he can't have a one night stand with someone if he's not actually talking to Casey so I'm assuming that when he heard of Hitch and his "Help" that he assumed this is what he did.

Besides, this scene is just to show the opposite of the good but slightly hopeless men he's helped.

He was a rich sleazeball who was use to getting his way. In a sense, he hated being buffed off. It is the same way he threw the doctor love (or whatever name he used for Hitch) around when leaving. It was his way at getting back at Hitch for refusing him service, to give him a bad rep.
