David Baddiel, In a lift, With a Gremlin

Anyone remember which episode/series that was? The one where he gets in the lift and it won't move and the gremlin is making the lift voice announcements.

And also that one with the alien being tortured in the living room and making Trimphone noises (Brits - you know the first "modern" looking BT phone that went "breep-breep" and had the radioactive luminous dial etc), while bloke taps awayon his laptop in the kitchen.

The Beeb (BBC) used to have clips of these (and other Monkey Dust classic scenes) before they got off on iPlayer and Itoons.

That would be series 2 - for both of those sketches. My mate managed to get series 2 and 3 online somewhere and I am very privileged to now own them on DVD. Monkey Dust was utter genius!

Did you (he) get them "officially"? I saw a promo DVD for series 2 on ebay a few years back but couldn't stretch to the asking price. Shame - I am jealous of your ownership.
