DVD Petition
Not that I've ever set one up (but I have signed a few successful ones)..but maybe we could petition for further series' DVD releases?
What does anybody say?

I say yes, we could release them into the ocean.
Wind it up and watch it go.
Would they survive out in the wild?

And of course, no surprise to see England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson in the crowd
I say let's go ahead with the petition, we need series 2 and 3 officially realeased and available on Dvd and Monkey Dust is show that deserves to be on dvd.
shareDefinately Monkey Dust needs to be on DVD. Can you imagine the directors commentary for some of the segments?
shareI would definitely buy series 2 and 3, I've got the first one on dvd and watched some of the others on tv ages ago. My favourite sketches were the ones where the husband has to remember to tell his wife's new hair looks lovely, they were the strangest ones!
shareYou do realize there is basically no chance for this wonderful show of satrical genius to be released on DVD. This is because the music is copyrighted and it will cost too much money to get proper music for the DVD's.
shareYeah I know what you mean, but I'm sure that some bands music will be able to be cleared for the dvd realese, as for most of the other music, I suppose they could do what they did for the series 1 dvd and make substions or make copies, although I'm not sure how this will affect the show, but that's just my suggestion.
shareI know this may not be of help to you but you can download series 2 and 3 legally on www.uknova.com and many other torrent sites as any British TV show not yet released on DVD is allowed to be legally downlaoded
shareAstounding nonsense. British TV shows are under copyright the same as any other copyrighted material.
Wind it up and watch it go.
All of the music in this show had to be performed by cover artsists anyway, since the originals were too expensive for the show itself. Therefore it wouldnt be that expensive to put them out on DVD, its just that lack of media coverage and general public interest would stop them releasing it - they probably wouldn't sell many copies. Personally I downloaded the torrents of the other 2 series, and put them on DVD myself! I would still buy the other 2 series should they ever actually come out though.
shareThe people who host sites like www.uknova.com say that downloading digital videos of broadcasts and only keeping them for up to 24 hours is the LEGAL EQUIVELENT of recording a show onto a VHS tape, and watching it later on. I think they do have a point, I've missed episodes of my favourite shows such as Top Gear, but luckily I could download them from www.uknova.com . I deleted them after watching so morally it would the same as making a VHS recording. I don't know what the legal experts would say, and quite frankly I don't care.

THIS SELLER, d-v-d247, IS SELLING PIRATED DISCS.
IMDB INFORMED!
PIRATING DISCS IS ILLEGAL!!!!
EVEN IF THEY ARE SOLD AS 'BACK UP COPIES'
The legal position as of 2015 in the UK is that owning a TV recording for 'PERSONAL' use is legal.
The originators still remain the copyright owners (in this case for 50 years after that last original broadcast), but no prosecution will take place (it's impossible to enforce anyway). 5 billion ppl in the world probable have TV recorded items. How to enforce that?

Acts that are allowed...
